Fuh yoh was my first reaction when I saw Digi’s latest advertisement. Looks like Fuh yoh will become the next infectious phrase in Malaysia. Previously it was the Yellow man. You can see them anywhere. On TV, on the ladio and there’s even a national anthem for the People’s Republic of Digi.
From the lower rates, you can see Digi is very serious in fighting the war against the mighty Maxis Empire (no jedi(s) are harmed during the process) to the very end and will do whatever it takes to kick Anantha Krisnan’s butt. I’m a maxis user and still am. But I’m not switching yet because 80% of my number list is Maxis users. So it’s not economically viable for me to switch my network at the moment. I wonder what Maxis will do this time.
Will they come out with bombastic plan called “Wah Lau Weh†or “Wah Piang Eh†to counter Digi’s “Fuh yoh†propaganda machine? Next time their tagline would sound something like this:- “Wah lau eh?!?!?!, so cheap ah? Sign up now to get yourself a full blast of wah lau ehâ€. Before we know it, don’t be surprise to see a “Mak Datuk!†campaign from Celcom! Getting a Tiu Nia Seng package would be a blast.
