An ode to flood

I think the weather has been kind to me. Every time I go to bed, it surely rains. Okay maybe  not EVERYTIME but most of the time recently. I just hope the water will not overflow and create floods like last year again. That was absolutely nightmare, it is something many people and businessmen would not want to face again. But then, my house has the reputation of not flooding easily because the structure was built on higher ground. To bad for the surrounding houses though. Those places are often flooded.
