Backstroke of the West - Revisited

The Chinese (mainlanders) never ceased to amaze me. You can always count on them for coming up with the most exhilarating and witty subtitles. Their sentences are cryptic and I had to search the dictionary for some of the bombastic words I can hardly understand. I know this is old news. Heck I even blogged about it 2 years ago. But I’m still intrigued by their art of work, especially on the translation part. It is the very same translationg that is going to make every one’s day.

Apparently R2 wants to fuck a female R3.

I used to have a mainland friend who called himself Happy Zhang. Well he had a good reason why he gave himself that name. Not because he’s the direct descendant of Bak Zhang. He claims he’s always cheery, the word ’sad’ do not exist in his dictionary. I’m always “Kai Xin”, so Happy is my name, he said.

I was quite glad he has no sadness in his life otherwise I should be really worry he’ll become a serial killer if he decided to change his name to Sadist Zhang one day. Luckily my brothers do not call me Wai Kor because I’m sure as hell do not want Viagra Tan to become my glamorous name.

ps:- Wai is part of my chinese name by the way. My late maternal great grandmother is the only person who calls me Ah Wai. No, it’s not wai wai tell me wai.
