Solar Power

Date September 8, 2007

High consumption of petrol as the primary energy source has contributed in many negative impact towards the world economy. As the fossil fuel is fast depleting in from the Earth, the cost of a fuel barrel is getting ridiculous from time to time. It is not surprising fossil fuel has been given the nickname of “black gold” due to its high value. I guess it’s pretty natural when a certain commodity is getting scarce, cannot be reproduced and it is a necessity to power every generator on this planet, the price increase for fossil fuel is inevitable. As a result from this phenomena, we are feeling the pinch of paying for energy. Scientists are working very hard to find a long-term solution to overcome the global problem every human being are facing on this earth. You should hear that palm oil and ethanol are being considered as possible replacement for fossil fuel in the long run. But you need to be honest with yourself, how many tonnes of ethanol would you need to power every single thing on earth? We need to make use a form of energy we already had ever since the creation of the solar system and it’s solar power. Would you fancy having a Solar water heating in your bathroom? Many people complain the technology is expensive, but compare to the current energy you are paying, I still think solar technology is much cheaper in the long run.
