The brave souls of Burma

Date October 5, 2007

You’ve probably seen pictures on the ongoing uprising in Myanmar. But do you know that bloggers and internet users alike from Myanmar have risk their lives to post up pictures like this on the cyber space? People who leak information to the outside world is bound to harsh punishment like execution and the most lenient one would be lengthy prison.

Sure, they have ask for China and India to intervene; but they better don’t put any hopes on the Chinese because they did the same thing towards their own protesters who seek for democracy. Remember Tiananmen massacre?

So do you think you can hope the Chinese to intervene when they have the same mentality to kill their own citizens in the past? Appreciate every pictures that have been posted in the internet. You may think it’s just another set of chaotic pictures, but the Burmese have risked their lives by posting it.
