actions on game cheaters

Aren’t they suppose to crack the whip on cheaters already? I mean when real money is at stake, we know the situation is getting out of hand. I remember my brother almost bought something from other players with REAL cash. Luckily I talked him out of it because I think it’s silly to pay for something to level up your character or purchase any so called ‘rare’ item to boost your inventory system. I have even seen people install bots into their game just to level up automatically. So I hope the games will take severe actions on those who cheats before it’s too late.
