Job hijackers

If you are an employer, would you employ some one who are willing to work hard, work over time with lower pay although they are foreigners? Let’s say all of them has a work permit, I am sure any frugal employer are willing to employed them and do you think he gives a fark whether the locals feels the foreigners are hijacking their jobs?

What is there to hijack when these same old local are the one who give so much excuses when it comes to work? Ask them to work, they will give all kind of 1001 excuses. Sick lah, so much work lah, nenek going to bersalin lah, less pay lah, long hours lah. Okay maybe the less pay and long hours factor is quite true to an extend lah.

Fine, so the employers are beginning to employ the foreigners to work in jobs that the local wouldn’t want to do and now they are complaining their jobs are being hijacked? I was pretty appalled when some of the fresh graduates I know told me they immediately want at least RM 4,000 for their first job(this figure is kinda high in Malacca) without taking intoc onsideration of their limited working experience.

If I am their potential employer I also would be freak out with that kinda demand lah. Susahlah become employer. This cannot, that cannot. That’s why I would give a second thought before becoming one. Wait, maybe there is one type employer I would like to become. The kind of employer that employs himself.

ps:- I’m not supporting employers to hire foreigners because I am totally supportive if it means every local citizens have a chance in employment. I am just annoy at some group of people who has the nerve to claim that foreigners are hijacking their jobs when these locals are the one who wouldn’t want work at the particular job in the first place.
