Sweet and Pretty girls die young - Another case deja vu in me.
November 19, 2007
Some one once mentioned Sekachu (short form for Sekai no Chuushin aka Crying out Love, in the center of the world) is a fictional story and it has lesser impact compare to real life inspired story such as 1 litre of Tears. While both stories had TV adaption, I have to say I still prefer Sekachu more despite being a fictional story.
Who knows the author drew inspiration from real life situation and transform it into a full fledge novel? I am not a fan of love series but I am totally intrigued with the way they brought the novel to life on TV. The OST, the set, the countryside location fits the drama pretty well. This is the very time I love an OST album THIS much.
I recently rewatched the drama (out of boredom) and it reminds me of my brother. I realized most of the scenes are 80% similar to my brother’s situation with the exception that a guy died instead of a girl this time. I was taken aback because every thing seems so relevant to my brother.
But that’s not the main thing that drew my attention the most. It was a particular date that drew my attention. The date was 2nd of July. The character died on the 2nd of July, and so is my brother. That was really a haunting coincidence. Or can I call it deja vu?
