Why I love National Geographic and Joan Chen

Date December 3, 2007

It’s no secret that I love National Geographic. Ever since I canceled my Astro subscription, one of the channels I truly missed is National Geographic. I can tell you, I watch National Geo more than Star World. Sometimes I would even forget Star World’s existence because I kept looking at Nat Geo’s channel for new documentaries.

If I am not mistaken, I have already watch Nat Geo since I was 12 years old. The colorful visuals and their interesting documentaries never ceased to amazed me. I often learn a thing or two from watching them. I am always hooked with their episodes and none of them manage to put me to sleep at the moment.

One of the my personal favorites is on China’s Forbidden City. I would love to step my foot on the largest palace complex in the world one day. I remember the 2 hour documentary was narrated by Joan Chen. Too bad I only have the first part. I have been wanting to buy National Geographic documentaries.

Does any one knows where to purchase them? If it’s possible, I would like search for the 2nd part of the Forbidden City documentary. But it’s not the only documentary I am looking for. It would be a bonus if I can find other nat geo documentaries that covers different topics.

On the lighter note, do you know why buying BMW and toto is detrimental to your health in the long run? Here’s why:-

BMW = Banyak Makan Wang

Toto = Tipu Orang Takda Otak

Well at least they have something in common with one MLM company called Lame Burger (pun intended of course).
