The notorious Chee Bai Sisters.

School is not the only place with sweet memories. Tuition is also a mine (lombong) for memories of sorts. They are equally fun, albeit our uncontrollable childish habits. It all started 17 years ago in a home tuition. I was merely a Standard/Primary 4 kid back then. As a 10-year-old boy, I knew nothing but to play all day long.
But going for tuition 17 years old is definitely fun. I get to meet children around our age and we are not only confined to recite the Darab timetable all day. We are allowed to play after our tuition ends. My favorite toy is water pistol. Okay, I am talking about a toy, not the meaty water pistol that guys are so accustomed to play even after they reached 70.
Not intending to sound dirty but it’s better to make things clear before I continue my story. Water pistols are not my only favorite type of guns. As far as I can remember, I used to own a plastic gun that is armed with firecracker type ammo. Kids from the 80s will remember there used to have a toy rocket in the market where you place the firecracker powder tab on the tip of the rocket.
All you have to do is to throw it high enough until it landed on the ground and it will create a loud bang. So the gun works in this concept. Last time got no Counter Strike so we have to play shooting with water guns or powder guns. Hey, at least it’s healthier than shooting in the virtual world. You move around and you sweat. Now, that’s what I call some form of exercising.
Even though the boys get to meet lots of friends from the tuition center, we had our own share of annoying tuition mates too. I remember there were 3 siblings. They were famously known as the Chee sisters. Since they were very annoying back then, the boyz including me decided to honour them as The Chee Bai sisters. But I think it’s a type of compliment. Why? At least we acknowledge them as girls.
Despite their annoying traits, I have to admit they were pretty cute as kids and I bet most of them have grown up becoming beautiful women. If I ever meet up with them again some day, I am not going to commit suicide by laughing or reminding them of their past nicknames, especially the chee bai one.
