Moving my ass to Singapore

After publishing this entry, I will make my move to the bus station. My family and I will board an express bus to Kiasu Isle. It has been awhile since we went for a vacation together. The last we did so was last year. My brother was still alive back then. I went for vacation alone every year but we seldom spent time together in a family trip.

It was technically a vacation because we went for a church camp at Bukit Tinggi. You know, the place where you can find the fake European Village or whatever you called it. We stayed at Selesa Home. It was fun, especially when every one of us is around. This year we are going to Singapore, which is also technically a vacation. The main reason we are going to Singapore because my aunt is getting married.

I haven’t seen her in many years either and this will be my first trip to Singapore in 22 years. I can hardly remember anything about my last trip and I don’t even remember going to Singapore as a kid. The only thing I can remember was stripping a mannequin in a shopping mall which my mum told me that incident took place in Kiasu Isle. Hmmm already developing my hamsapness as a kid.

But it is good training, like my own made Malay saying “Kalau hendak menyunat kotek, biar lah dari kepala butoh nya”. Anyway, it is time for me to move my ass. I will make some short updates if Internet access is available to me from where I’ll be establishing my new habitat. I will return home by next Friday. Sigh, just wish my brother is here with us.
