I saw one stall selling naughty toys at pasar malam

Now it would be a little unusual for me to blog about pasar malam but I have a friend who had not been to any pasar malam for a very long time ever since she went over the sea. Hence, this post is partially dedicated to her. Locals should be familar with pasar malam but since I have some readers from over the sea, it means night market.

Why it’s night market? Well because they opens at night. Okay that’s not quite a detailed description but I am pretty lazy to elaborate right now. More over, a simple trip to a pasar malam can be quite fun because it gives you the license to exercise (walking) while becoming a glutton. Any one who is facing obesity problem should consider this sort of sexercise.

Can eat while exercise by walking. Cool huh? It’s great to Kill two kukubirds with one bush. Okay, I hope you won’t take me seriously because I was obviously kidding if you don’t know already and I should not be hold accountable if any of your dieting problem went awry. Pasar Malam is also fun because you get to see every walks of life in this event.

Best of all, it is one of the best places to enjoy ’sceneries’, ie:- to see the opposite sexes with out their photoshop makeup. Hence they will look absolutely original when they are at pasar malam. Why? Because the majority of the pasar malam patrons came from that particular area itself and some do not even bother to put their make ups on. Best of all, you get to see them in their shorts.

But I’ve seen people applied heavy makeups at pasar malam and dressed as if they are attending prom nites. Hmmm surely, we can see different types of persona from this mass gathering. These are some of the perks of going to pasar malam. But of course, a pasar malam isn’t a pasar malam with out the wide selection of food. You can literally find food any where.

Since Malacca have many pasar malams, the one I attended was at Taman Malim Jaya. It is probably Malacca’s largest pasar malam. I hardly came to this one since there are at least two pasar malams every week around my neighborhood. But seriously, this place is a food haven. Too bad I only have a pair of hands, otherwise I am going buy food from every stalls. These are some of the stalls I patronized:-

Or raw fishes to make my DIY sushi. I didn’t know they are so desperate to sell aquariums and fishes at pasar malam. I even saw a stall selling sex toys and condoms. I am not putting the pictures here because I want to keep my belog clean. Yeah right, as if. I can hear some one sniggers already.

The truth is, I was a little awkward in snapping so I did not do it after all. Snapping the photos, not buying sex toys. But I understand their plight. Since it’s becoming increasingly tougher to cari makan in this land, I guess everything goes.

Seriously, lots of things can be found from this night market.

You can even find a stretch of stalls selling your mother old shoes in this entire small lane. But I did not go there to try their mother shoes. It is another pathway that leads me another part of market which I will cover in the next post.
