The spirit that has been bothering my brother for years

This is not some sick joke about the canine ’spirit’ I blogged about earlier. My late brother’s encounter with supernatural dated quite some time ago. If I am not mistaken, it first started when he was 12 years old. He always claims that he sees ‘things’ and I always dismiss it as his ‘imagination’. I also told him his mind is playing tricks on him. There was this incident where we were sleeping in our room and he woke up suddenly.

He told me he saw a female figure with long hair was drying clothes at the back of our house. After ’she’ was done with her drying, she would just stood there, unmoved. It is weird because we do not recall having any ground floor neighbors with long hair at that time. Not even at present day. I finally believe him because there was one night where I also woke up suddenly and I heard laughter, a loud shrieking hysterical laughter.

It was most probably a woman. At first I thought she was some woman fucking with her boyfriend upstairs. In my heart I was going to ask her to shut the fuck up. But it freaks me out when the laughter grew louder once I had the thoughts of asking her to shut up and it continued until I passed out eventually. I don’t think any humans can laugh that long and read my mind at the same time.

I really thought I was dreaming but I don’t think it was merely a dream when my brother and I had the same dream at the same time. Then sometimes I would have this dream that do not seem like a dream. I woke up suddenly again. This time my door room was open and there was this strong wind blowing into my room. While the wind was blowing furiously, I notice there was a shadow on top of me.

I couldn’t see the exact shape of the shadow but it was moving back and forth as if ‘it’ knew I was finally awake. I really thought it was a dream until my brother told me something similar had bothered him. The encounters continued on and off after 3 years before the pastor came to bless our house. The encounters stopped ever since.

6 years later, my brother’s girlfriend rented an apartment some where around this area. And of course my brother wouldn’t want her to stay alone in her apartment so my brother accompanied her. He slept in the living room. While he was sleeping, once again he woke up suddenly. This time he saw a man and a woman standing in front of him. This is where he claims that the spirits had started to bother him again.

Guess what? He was not the only one who’s been bother because his girlfriend told him the same thing. She says she saw a man and woman too, standing beside her bed. At times, these spirits would appear every time she uses the bathroom to shower. She screamed. As expected, she moved out the next day. A month later after that encounter, my brother began to fall ill. About his illness, I do not need to elaborate any further because I already blogged about it earlier.

Even when he was already admitted to the hospital, he told me the man and woman was still there. He told me ‘they’ were standing right behind me but I did not see anything. It finally stopped when he went for special prayers organized by my pastor after he was discharged briefly. Again, I do not want to write what happened during the special prayer process because I wish to keep that part private. But what I can say is, the man and woman also stopped bothering him after the long series of prayers.

Few days before he died, he told me another man in white came with a helicopter. He said that man was not an evil spirit this time because he would normally be terrified once they made their appearance. He had a warm presence and my brother told me he felt at ease with that mysterious man in white telling him it’s time to depart. Two days later, my brother really left for good. I have one last thing to say to these invisible critters.

Fuck you.
