Will the music industry face changes and bend over with time?

Date January 11, 2008

Will the music industry face changes and bend over with time? Like they say, if you can’t beat them, join them. Soon, music producers will distribute their albums via Internet download. I hardly find myself listening my music from CDs nowadays. By that time I hope they’ll lower the price. Every time I purchased a new album I will immediately convert it into mp3 and place it into my mp3 player for convenient sake. That’s a revolutionary change considering we used to listen music via cassette. Hey, they even store MTVs in video tapes during the 80s k? And don’t talk about piracy because that’s not the point I am writing this.

I’m sure the producers will try their best to sell CDs off the rack instead of focusing totally on internet downloads. Singers will continue going from venue to venue signing autographs on CDs and meeting fans. With internet download, the personal touch and fans mobbing you is not going to happen anymore.

Well see what’s going to happen after Radiohead’s success in ‘name your own price’ download.

CDs are easily scratched. That makes mp3 a better choice, I would say.
