I am not sure if I blog about this before. My memory is getting shitty, I can’t even remember some of the stuffs I blog before and I end up writing about the same thing. Anyway, dining within the compound of a Taoist temple was quite an interesting experience. It might be common for us but foreigners would think otherwise. Even though I drove or walked pass by this road countless of time, I have never been to this restaurant ever since I was born 27 years ago lol.
In case you didn’t know, this restaurant is part of the must-go dining places for tourists from Chinese countries (dunno if it’s true, the boss say one). But I did saw this restaurant name is listed in my friend’s Looney Planet guide book. Sometimes I can even find Caucasians enjoying their food here.
If you are the kind of person cannot stand the strong scent of burning incense, I advise you to sit in the inner part of the restaurant because it can get smoky at times until it made my eyes uncomfy. The food was nothing to shout about but the trademark dish for this restaurant is their crab dishes.
Since I was sitted at a very close proximity distance between the altar and the temple, it allowed me the opportunity to snap some photos.
