Hmmm why declare Thaipusam as public holiday in the midst of general election? If they are really sincere in helping the minority, they should have done this long time ago. Not waited until the election. Just like the roads in one of the housing estate in melaka. Generally they don’t give two hoots about the roads there. But the roads are surprisingly tarred and marked with white lines today. These are the basic road infrastructures that should have been completed long before. Signs of incoming election? You bet!
