Heaven Is a Place on Earth

Errr, not a religious post. Just a soul searching one. Inspired by Belinda Carlisle’s classic.

I was helping out with my dad’s business and we traveled to a kampung area where I was greeted by few scenes of beautiful landscapes. Well, the reason I followed him to work is because we were due to make our passports together at the immigration department later on. Since we arrived at my dad’s working place around 7.45 am, we were greeted by a beautiful sunrise.

I may not be a professional photographer but shooting pictures like this is very satisfying for me indeed. It makes you forget all the shitty state of affairs in this country for a while and it’s much better than booze. Anyway, we finally arrived at the immigration department. Since we have to wait 2 hours for our passport and I have nothing better to do, I went for a stroll.

The white fluffy clouds remind me of my brother. I wonder how he’s doing up there. But I bet he’s happy now having to serve the Lord unconditionally.

It was going to rain. This picture is shot 10 minutes earlier before the heavy downpour. Right now, I just want to enjoy the nature as long I have the time to do so.
