I have my own share of meeting weirdos from the Internet. The chances of bumping into perverts are higher than the amount of time I pee in a day. You get perverts every where asking for cyber sex (i still don’t understand what is so arousing about cyber coitus fetish) especially when you armed with a female nick. You don’t even have to do all the private messaging. Just enter a channel with a female nick, they will pm you in seconds.

Yes I know because my friends and I impersonated as one to trap a notorious malaccan cyber pervert before. He bought into it because we had a female friend who lend us her voice to fool him good. The moment where he spent hours waiting for this ‘girl’ is priceless. But among the number of countless weirdos, I am still able to find few gems who have been great friends to me from the Internet.

Dark Angel (not her real name)

She was the first proper friend I made in the Internet and also the longest. We had known each other for almost 8 years. I first saw her in the now defunct malaccan irc channel. It was also her last time in IRC before dumping it for good and it was also my last time parking my nick there. So you can say it’s fate that brought us to know each other. She was initially using a fake name talking to me all along before she finally confessed her real name several months later. Well I can’t blame her.

There was an infamous pervert lurking in the channel at that time so she made the right move in protecting herself. The world gets even smaller when I bump into her in one of the churches when my family first became Christians. Although we don’t meet that often now, but every meetings are guaranteed to be absolute fun.

Beloved meimei

She is my beloved meimei. No, meimei is not her name. Meimei means younger sister in Mandarin. How she became my meimei is one long story. If I were to tell the story from head to toe, I think one day is not even enough. But to cut the story short, I did not exactly met her in the Internet on our first meeting. It goes way back in 1999 where my former fake gay partner and another friend named Botak Lee to his relative punya rumah.

We did not talk that much back then because obviously we don’t really know each other at that time. Few years later, we bumped into each other again in IRC. I remember the first thing she told me is to ask me whether this particular person is my friend. When I say yes, the first sentence that came out from her mouth (fingers) was “Ask him to eat shit”. Boy, that particular line made me laughed real hard.

Luckily I wasn’t drinking anything or any one was sitting beside me on that day. We had a lot of common because we have the same predicament. It was during the first time when my brother was diagnosed with cancer. She consoled me by saying she understood how I felt because she had a mother who was diagnosed with nose cancer too. It is ironic that they both passed away at the same month at the same year.

President

I can’t really remember why I called her President. But the closest thing I can think of is Gunbound. But then, I did not exactly support her in gunbound. I kill her with my Sate bot got lah. So I made up by calling her President? Yes, we were a bunch of GB addicts. Every night surely nampak her batang hidung in gb one. She very gila panda one. Tidur, makan, main also panda.

Gunbound avatar also panda. Okay it’s actually not like that. We created our imaginary country and it’s only inhabited by 2 people. President and supporter. Cannot vote in this country. Got no choice, so kena jadi supporter lor wahahhaha. You are right, I made this up just to make President’s blood boil.

ps:- I have many more good netfriends I did not mention here but if I am going to list all of them here, it is going to take forever. So I am going to focus on those I met in real life before. For those I didn’t mention, you guys know who you are
