The place where my brother is buried

Date April 2, 2008

This is where my brother is buried. It is quite a nice place, minus the tombstones of course. I was talking about the scenery. It is quiet enough and rather peaceful. I guess this is where RIP applies. The only noise are the birds chirping in the background.

My brother’s ‘home’ is located some where deeper in cemetery. Some of my relatives are located at the bottom part. Those are the older tombstones. One of my aunts died more than 30 years ago and was buried at the same cemetery. If I am not mistaken, she died of cancer.

This is my brother’s tombstone. I had to blur out the names due to privacy reasons. Few months ago, there wasn’t anything except the base that covered my brother resting place foundation. They only started to work after we threaten to change another stone mason to take over the job. Nevertheless, the tomb is built with quality material.

Jonathan’s new neighbor waiting to be buried. Another neighbor of his is a 14 year old boy who died of brain cancer. Coincidentally, his dad is my father’s acquaintance.

The perfect verse that suits the occasion.

My brother’s body may be resting beneath the earth but his spirit and our memories of him will remain forever in our hearts.

Wow, that’s an impressive tombstone. Certainly looks expensive. Your brother was so young. A very thought-provoking blog entry.
