SocialSpark is open for business

Date April 18, 2008

Finally, I’ve been waiting for SocialSpark to go live since end of last year. They were supposed to go live on January 2008 but the date was pushed further behind the schedule. I guess this is a good move because I rather have a workable site rather than a broken one. That would give them more time to rectify any bugs in their latest project. Anyway, after my friend told me SocialSpark has gone live, the first thing I did was to register my blog into their network. Fortunately, the registration was a breeze just like the good old PPP days. Since they are known as SocialSpark, the first thing that distinguishes them from the older system is their interesting analytic tools.

From there, I can easily find out the demographics of my daily visitors, which can be a useful tool for advertisers who are aiming to bring their message accross to their targeted audience.

I can even see I have more male visitors than females. I hope they are here for the right reasons haha.

Bloggers who are looking to monetize their blog should try SocialSpark. At least it is able to drive traffic to your blog because it is search engine friendly. Not only that, you get to post real opinions, rather than writing generic posts that nobody wants to read. If you are the kind of person who pushes for greater transparency then SocialSpark may be the right place for you to fully utilize the potential of your blog. To ensure greater quality of the blog posts, there is a code of ethics to monitor and weed out spammy writings.
