Lost Love

Date April 30, 2008

Jonathan told me he likes this girl in his class. He heaped many praises on her saying that she is sweet and nice. He would ask me what he should do in order to win her heart. Well, it’s not like I am so great in winning women’s heart but at least I can pass some of my experiences to him. Whether he succeed or not, it’s up to his sincerity. Speaking of sincerity, he has full of it. It was the first he is really serious of some one because he was horribly humiliated by a girl he likes in the past.

I still remember how he locked himself in the room for 1 day after the ordeal. Anyway this girl is not the kinda girl you can easily woo. Not because she’s trying to jack her value up but she also has the same experience like my brother, being played by the opposite sex. Jonathan would always talk about her, how she never discriminated him even after he told her of his condition. It took him awhile to tell her because he doesn’t want to use sympathy to win her heart.

Not many people know of his condition because every of his form six class mates thought he only have trouble in walking or involved in an accident (although technically he got his cancerous growth from an accident on his knee). Jonathan would always keep me posted of his progress in wooing this girl. Even though he was rejected in his initial attempt, he kept trying until one day he successfully won her heart. I was very impressed with his determination. If I were him, I don’t think I will have the zeal and determination as strong as he is. They went on to be together for more than 3 years. Sadly the last time she saw him alive was the moment where Jonathan’s dead body was carted out to the mortuary.
