Orang Besi, Batang pun sama Besi

Iron Man rocks. Every one has been saying that. I think it rocks too. But there is one part that rock the most. When the BM translation of Iron Man rolls in. Damn ‘Orang Besi’. I have no idea how they came up with such translation but I think it is a sign of creativity at its highest level. I didn’t know the translation of MAN is ORANG in BM. It is making it sound like a distant cousin of Orang Utan, with the only difference that Orang Utan is not made from Besi.

Of course there shouldn’t direct translation because direct translation equally sucks. What if the MAN is translated to Lelaki or Jantan? Wouldn’t you rejoice at the idea of calling Iron Man, Jantan Besi or Lelaki Besi respectively? It is only giving the impression that his joy rod down on his groin is made from Iron/Besi. Have you ever wonder what do they call Superman in BM? Hopefully not Lelaki Spander Merah.
