Vandalism as an artform in Malaysia?
June 30, 2008
Ahhh graffiti is a world wide art. Every country has it’s own style of graffiti as it represents its culture. Among all, and being a patriotic ass, Malaysian style graffiti has my vote. Malaysia is more unique in this aspect because we are better well know for our toilet graffiti. I am not sure how it originated from, but you know, we are a bunch of shy people. We don’t express ourselves openly. So toilet is the best place to vent our frustrations, apart from shitting. Well actually, we have no balls in getting caught so it’s better to go stealth in this case.
If you think we expresses ourselves with spray cans, you are sorely mistaken because all we need is a pen. Not only pen is cheap, it is more healthy for our lungs too. Spray can emits a type of strong smell that going to damage your repository system in the long run. Further more it is not environmentally friendly. So that’s a big fat NO.
Don’t ask me why we are so obsessed in glorifying private parts. But it exists for a reason.

Yes Malaysian graffiti rocks! Except there are many of them are aged 18 and above. lol… I wonder they purposely go to the toilet and start drawing or they bring pen along when they have business to do with the toilet bowl.
