I was particularly annoyed with the obvious propaganda interview on TV2. Oh yes, how can I forget? TV2 is indeed the propaganda machine of Bee Ann. As usual, they interviewed a bunch of malaysian chinese of what they think of the recent rallies held last year. You can see the interviews are mostly scripted. Their reponses are really appalling it almost made me puke. Luckily I wasn’t eating.
There is one ahpek, and this is what he says:- itu orang asing tengok negara kita apa maciam, apa sudah jadi dengan malaysia. Kita tak boleh ikut style orang asing berdemo. Kita rakyat malaysia ada cara kita sendiri? - Oh like what? STFU and stay quiet? Or Cara meliwat antara satu sama lain i guess.
Then there is one auntie:- Hari Hari traffic jam, tak boleh pegi pasar lah! (going to wet market is far more important than electoral reform for her)
Student:- Tak boleh lah….. tak bagus….. tak boleh…… (but she did not elaborate why it’s tak boleh or tak bagus)
We all know the interviews of those who supported the rally will be censored and not be shown on TV. The interview ends with one segment where it demonized the opposition leaders like Anwar, Lim Kit Siang and Hadi Awang. Goodness, they are about to become superstars in their on right already.
