When some one is unlawfully detained and prior to their release, do you ask them to take a lie detector to prove their innocence? Apparently Utusan decided to be different by asking weird questions like this.
At the press conference in DAP headquarters today, Kok was asked by an Utusan reporter if she was willing to take a lie detector test to convince Malaysians that she had no part in the azan controversy.
Perhaps every court should provide lie detector facilities for testifying witnesses and defendants alike in legal premises next time to prevent redundant and meaningless trials that are beating around the bushes and tax wasting. Oh yeah while they are it, the reporters should also ask Theresa whether she thinks gender equality has greatly improved in Malaysia since they now detain more women under ISA than they do 30 years ago.
