Whoa, things are getting bad huh?
SUBANG JAYA: Thieves tried to break open an ATM in Puchong with a homemade explosive device made of fireworks but they did not get the money.
Now we have a bunch of robbers trying to perform The Malaysian Job on this ATM joint in Puchong. Unfortunately their plan was thwarted by the sturdiness of the safe (of course it has to be sturdy otherwise it is going to defeat the purpose of putting a safe) as the explosives only manage to pierce its way to the part where you input information to the ATM kiosk.
Thankfully it was only firework explosives and not C4. It really makes me shiver whenever I stepped into any ATM counters at night and I would normally avoid going to one after dark. You’ll never know if there will be any potential robberies waiting to be commited at the wrong time. Looking at the mess it caused, you’ll be wondering how long did it take the cops to arrive at the scene.
Don’t blame me for being a cynic but many robbery or house break in victims are often asked with stupid questions when they called the cops like “perompak/pencuri itu sudah lari ke belum?” and if the answer is yes, they will take their own sweet time to arrive at the scene.
I don’t think any one would be dumb enough to call the cops when the robbers/thieves are still around in the victims house and most of them will be too petrified to make a bloody phonecall anyway. Their explosion mission may failed this time but there are no guarantees they won’t strike for the 2nd time with stronger explosives.
