The sad thing is, whenever I smiled at some one i hardly know, I get weird stares as if I am going to rob them.
If some one like me who has an innocent face *pukes* get such response, what about people who has the face of Jack The Ripper?
I mean, it’s quite common in countries like NZ or Ireland to start a conversation with a random stranger. Do the same thing in Malaysia, they’ll probably look at you thinking you are an annoying salesman or some one who wants to rape their ass.
So can you blame Malaysians for not smiling ah?

Too bad Jet Li’s “The One” was not released in conjunction with 1Smile, otherwise trust Ng Yen Yen to recruit the kungfu star to become our 1Malaysia’s permanent mascot.
That being said, I agree with Murugiah with one point, many Malaysians are sourpusses. Sometimes we are so sour as if we were baptized in a large periuk of asam pedas.
But I am peeved that everything has to be associated with “1″.
