OMG I got a shock when I found out that Chow Yun Fatt (Fatt Gor) is going to play the legendary perverted martial arts Master Muten Roshi in Dragon Ball. Not that I am saying Fatt Gor is a poor actor and all but it would be interesting to see him in this extremely perverted character. Don’t get me started on the guy who is going to play Son Goku. Yes Muten Roshi is a very extremely perverted old guy in Dragon Ball who is never short of porn whenever he needs it. Don’t compare him with the characters in hentai anime though because that would make him look like a saint.

Fans of Dragon Ball will remember this memorable scene when the fake Bulma stripped her bunny suit exposing her barebreast that resulted to severe nose bleeding from Muten Roshi. I really wonder if this scene will ever make its appearance in the silverscreen? I guess not because tonnes of kids might want to catch this movie. Will I watch this movie? The answer is a big fat NO. I can see my childhood dream is on the verge of getting destroyed already.

Any Shonen manga lovers would love Bleach. Okay maybe not every shonen manga lovers but you can’t deny that Bleach is such a highly entertaining and funny manga. This time they have another good Bleach the Movie coming out in the theaters. So who is the my favorite bleach character? I would have to say it’s Ulquiorra Schiffer. Hey at least I am not boring alright? Don’t you think it will be cool that I am going named myself as The Reptile Glare? Well that’s what his pair of eyes resembles anyway. Since I do not read the Bleach manga, I was a little surprised when read about this little spoiler. Actually it’s not too little though. It is quite a big spoiler but since we’ve already familarized with the Yoiruichi real identity, similar thing could happened in Hueco Mundo. So are you surprise when you find out that Nel Tu is actually a former Espada?

That cute little fast talking funny arrancar with her two ‘brothers’ is actually a former Espada. Can’t wait for the anime to cover this story.

Some of RPG fans might hate me for saying this but Chrono Trigger is one of the greatest of its genre I had ever played. As a person who is obsessed with Role playing games (well I actually prefer Japanese RPG), great graphics do not make a great game but of course it’s always a bonus if it’s good looking and all. Dragon Quest 8 is awesome though.

It’s easy to recognize Akira Toriyama’s artwork if you are an avid fan of the Dragon Ball manga. Yeah he was involved in Chrono Trigger’s character design like he did in the Dragon Quest series.

Chrono Trigger is one of the old school Japanese RPGs released on the SNES platform. Well actually it’s not THAT old school since it was released in 1995, 2 years before the Super Nintendo platform went bonkers with the emergence of Sony Playstation. Of course there are still older japanese RPGs available on NES. I am beginning to suspect Micro Genius is the pirated version of NES.

Maybe some of you can enlighten me with this old console. I think Micro Genius can be considered an antique in the video game console bloodline. Going back to Chrono Trigger, it was a fun game and it still is. Hey, whenever I am bored, I still play it on my computer okay? Many thanks to the technology of console emulators. Being a part of the old school RPG, I don’t mind reading the good ol` text dialogues and the replayable value is high due it’s large numbers of multiple endings.

I never get to see the different endings 11 years ago because the game cartridge is not mine and it belongs to my friend. It was damn expensive to buy that junk back then so all we can do is exchange games or borrow around. I had to sacrifice my 150 ringgit Fighting Eleven cartridge or better known as International Superstar Soccer Deluxe, arghhhhhh……….. The BGM of CT is awesome as usual. The quality of the music sounded good enough in 32 bit. My brother even had the one of the opening songs as his ringtone.

I must be crazy by saying this, but I still enjoy this game over RPGs that were released on Playstation and Playstation 2. I even enjoyed it more than the sequel itself, Chrono Cross. Chrono Cross is a good game but some how it still lacked something from its predecessor. Well I actually prefer most of the old school RPGs than the newer 3D graphic driven ones anyway.

I almost fell from my chair when I found out Dragon Ball will be made into a live action movie. I have no problem with manga live action series movies such as Death Note, Honey and Clover, Prince of Tennis. But Dragon Ball? LOL Okay maybe they manage to bring the Sailor moon characters on screen, minus the horrendous wig. But Dragon Ball Z? I would like to see how they are going to bring Son Goku to life.

His hairstyle is not exactly easy to replicate in Live Action. Dicky Cheung did it once in Future Cops, but it’s not exactly the kinda hairstyle Son Goku possessed. So the hairstyle looks pretty dicky to me. Okay maybe it is a movie in the 90s, so it’s not easy to make Son Goku’s hairstyle stand out from the rest.

Potential candidates for Vegeta’s role.

That’s Son Goku. What about Vegeta? Is Dan Akryod a good candidate since he has the experience of playing the eccentric alien in Coneheads? Damn I can’t wait to see the legendary Kamehameha or Spirit Bomb being animated in the live action movie.

I recently found a racing anime that look exactly like Initial D. It’s called Wangan Midnight (not wan tan mee). Before some of you shouts it’s a rip off from Initial D, it’s not. In fact it is done by the same animator group that did Initial D and the manga came out way earlier than Initial D. Although there are resemblance in the art but both are focuses on completely different racing style. While the former focuses on mountain pass racing, the latter focuses on  urban racing. Since it is going to take awhile for Initial D stage 5 to release, I might as well enjoy other type of car racing themed anime.

I read with great interest about the on-going controversy that a Singaporean Anime distributor is taking legal action against illegal downloaders. Seriously, taking legal action against downloaders? If it’s me, I wouldn’t think for a second to buy expensive animes from the shops.

Don’t be surprise some of the ‘original’ anime on sale in malaysia is directly ripped off from fansubs itself. So should these fansubbers sue this people too? I have always regard fansubbers as the Robin Hood of anime distribution. Go to the shops and take a look how much does every anime DVD costs then you will come to the conclusion why people are more keen on downloading rather than buying DVDs of substandard quality.

Not every one can afford them and please, stop uttering stupid remarks like “if you can’t can afford it, don’t watch it”. Just leave the fansubbers alone and go fuck yourself in your own licensing cubicle.

I wonder where to get Claymore manga in Malacca. You see, I can’t read Chinese so I cannot rely on the local manga rental center to satisfy my addiction. Any fans of action packed or sword wielding manga would be addicted to Claymore. Well, I am already addicted to its gorier counterpart, Berserk but I’m facing the same problem and the US imported version is not exactly cheap either.

You can’t really rely on the Bahasa version because you still have to deal with the dumb censorship issue. Who the hell is going to spend 30 bucks for every volume? Say if there are 10 volumes for each manga title, would I have to spend 300 bucks on a single title? Thinking about it is already enough to give me shivers.
