I chuckled when I read Kavi’s hilarious take on the ongoing boycott issue. There are few of his points I disagreed with but hey, when did humans ever agree with each other most of the time?
I wanted to comment but I realized my comment was getting too long winded so I might as well make it a blog post of my own. I have to stress that in no way I am making fun of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict because those who are close to me would know I am extremely appalled with the latter’s method in fighting terrorism (carpet bombing civilians in their own backyard are also part of Israel’s efforts in eradicating terrorism).
However, since Dr M did not elaborate why we should boycott McD, Coca Cola, Starbucks and thus it is giving an impression to his detractors that he is merely being rhetorical rather than giving solutions, it gives me an avenue to express my thoughts.
